Pork Sinigang

Ingredients

  •        3 cups water
  •        1 pouch Mama Sita’s Sinigang Mix
  •      1 kilo Pork Liempo, cleaned and sliced
  •      2 cups sitaw (long green beans), cut into 2” lengths
  •        2 pcs long green pepper
  •      1 bundle kangkong (swamp cabbage)

                   salt or patis (fish sauce) to taste

 

Procedure:

  1. Boil 3 cups water. Add Mama Sita’s Sinigang Mix and stir to dissolve. Simmer.
  2. Add pork. Cover, let it boil, then simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Add long green beans and long green pepper. When almost cooked, add kangkong (swamp cabbage).
  4. Simmer for two to three minutes. Add salt or fish sauce to taste. Serve with rice.

 

Makes 4 servings
