Pinakbet

Ingredients

  •      10 pcs Shrimps, boiled, peeled and deveined (set aside 1 cup broth, from boiling shrimps)
  •      1 pc tomatoes, quartered
  •         1 pc squash, cut into 1” cubes
  •      8 pcs snake beans (sitaw),cut into 2” long pieces
  •      1 pouch Mama Sita’s Pang-gisa mix
  •      6 pcs okra, sliced into 2 pieces
  •      1 pc eggplant, slice ½ “ thick
  •      1 pc bittergourd (ampalaya), sliced ½ “ thick

 

Procedure:

  1. In a casserole, combine shrimp broth and tomatoes. Bring to a boil and simmer. Add squash and snake beans. Cook until the vegetables are half-cooked (about 2 minutes).
  2. Add Mama Sita’s Pang-Gisa Mix and rest of the ingredients.
  3. Stir and cover. Cook for 7 minutes or until done. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
