Braised Eggs Oriental


  •        2 dozen quail eggs, hard boiled and peeled
  •        cooking oil for frying
  •      2 pcs onions, quartered
  •      1 piece bellpepper, seeded and cut into serving pieces
  •         ½ stalk celery, coarsely chopped
  •      1 pouch Mama Sita’s sweet and sour paste
  •      ½ cup water

                  Mama Sita’s Pinoy Anghang hot sauce, to taste



  1. Pan fry the eggs until golden.  Set aside.
  2. Stir fry all the vegetables for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the eggs, Mama Sita’s Sweet and Sour Sauce Paste and water. Cover and simmer until the vegetables are soft and the sauce has thickened.  Season with Mama Sita’s Pinoy Anghang Hot Sauce to taste.
  4. Remove from heat and serve.


Makes 5 pieces
